Changes at Transport UK

We are thrilled to announce the start of a new chapter for our company. After completing a management buyout earlier this year, we are officially rebranding our organisation from Abellio to Transport UK. This transformation marks an exciting milestone for us as we embark on our mission to help people thrive through better public transport.

The rebranding reflects our vision and commitment to shape the future of integrated transport. Building on Abellio UK’s 20-year track record Transport UK will be at the forefront of industry innovation and lead the way in creating a low carbon transport system.

As part of this transition, we would like to share some important updates regarding our executive leadership team. While we express our gratitude for their contributions, we must bid farewell to three esteemed individuals who have decided to pursue new endeavours: Andy Meadows, Dave Kaye and Stewart Fox-Mills, whose secondment to Great British Railways Transition Team will become permanent allowing him to continue his work to reform of the strategic leadership of the railways. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to them for everything they have achieved for us and our industry and wish them well for the future.

A changing organisation also brings new faces. Over the next couple of months, we look forward to welcoming Perry Ramsey as Director of our consultancy business, TransportWorks and Angela Prescott as Health and Safety Director, coming over from West Midlands Trains.

In addition to these changes, we are thrilled to introduce our new LinkedIn and Twitter pages, which reflect our rebranding as Transport UK and describe in more detail the vision and values of our business. We invite you to explore our new LinkedIn here and our new Twitter here.

As we embark on this transformative journey, we want to express our gratitude for your continued support and trust in our services. Our team is more motivated than ever to continue delivering to the highest standard shape the future of transportation in the UK. We look forward to sharing more exciting developments with you in the coming months.
